[character]: Kiri Luchile
[character history / background]:
Kiri is a small town boy who had pretty much lived in the same place all his life. He grew up with loving and accepting parents, albeit unusual (his mother looks like a child and his father looks like a giant). Growing up with slightly unusual powers, his town is also accepting of him.
Also, in the world he lives in, there is a fatal virus called "Troy" which , since its outbreak, has never been cured. The disease is transferred by direct touch and currently, Kiri is the only known person to be immune to this disease.
[character abilities]:
Wiki just does it better...
Wiki doesn't mention that although Kiri is immune to Troy, he cannot cure it. He can only stop it while in contact.
[character personality]:
Kiri is a happy-go-lucky kid and quite the optimist (although those are exactly the same thing). Even in the toughest situations (like being up against his world's top assassins bent on killing him and murdering anyone in their path) Kiri won't give up. As long as there's even 0.0000001% of succeeding, he'll take it and do his best to change it to a 100%.
The only thing that makes Kiri an angry child is when people throw away their lives. He thinks life is important and "living life to the fullest" shouldn't be taken lightly. In the manga, he is so important to finding the cure to Troy that people will sacrifice their lives for him...and he HATES it. Kiri doesn't want anyone to die for him because he understands that every life has a possibility to be great without having to take the path of a martyr. Also, he fears the guilt that would be brought along with it. Kiri does not want to know that people died for him because he'd take it to fault and to him, it would be the same as him having killed the person.

Haha, no, I'm sure that step was supposed to be like--
Ellie? Shit--
ELLIE?!
[third person / log sample]:
The sound of the shower was relaxing even when Kiri wasn't the one taking the shower.
He could feel some excess water hit his hand resting on the soap holder in the shower. On the other side of the shower curtain was Elraine, her hand touching his own out of necessity. He had never really noticed until the sisters had mentioned it, her hand was cold.
It was a cold worse than the bitterest of winter.
It was the cold of someone dead.
Amber eyes opened upwards toward the ceiling, toward the heavens. He grinned, as if conversing with some spacial being. Sorry guys, you can't have her yet. Elraine's still alive and kicking.
And it was true. He always forgot that she was cold, or on the verge of dying considering how loud and fiesty she was. Not as bad as Sui, but well-- Elraine had her points.
Like when she's sleeping. Girls are supposed to be peaceful, right?! Have sweet, sleeping faces, and look cute and defenseless or something. Well, not Elraine. She punches and kicks so hard in her sleep that it leaves him hurting for weeks.
Not only that, she's always paranoid that he would do something perverted. Ellie was probably worrying right now behind the shower curtain that he'd peek or something. It left him baffled since he was sure he hadn't done anything that would mark him a pervert. He's just not that kind of guy. Well, there was that one joke with his mom...but Ellie's reaction was hilarious and he had apologized later.
Ellie did have a lot of expressions...Like that funny face she made when her nickname, adlfkajdfpfft the White Fairy, gets mentioned.
The best expression, hands down, was when she smiles-- no, actually, it's when she laughs.
Her face lights up, and the laughter's contagious, and it made him want to keep her laughing forever. It was the laughter of someone alive. What Troy? Troy doesn't contaminate laughter. Especially not Elraine's. And when she laughs, her hand-- the hand cold with Troy, the hand that's helped taken the poison of others into herself, the hand that's given hundreds of people a chance to live a bit longer, the hand that's given so many people hope-- warms up like a summer's day.
It made him want to keep her hand warm every day. Until then, he'd hold onto her hand and never let go. And when the time came to let go, maybe he'd continue to hold on to make up for the days where he held her cold hand instead of her warm one.
